International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad (IIITH) JEE Mode 2024 Notification Released

  • International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIITH) is an autonomous university, founded as a not-for-profit public private partnership (N-PPP) in 1998, and is the first IIIT in India under this model. Over the years, the institute has evolved strong research programmes in various areas, with an emphasis on technology and applied research for industry and society.

Courses Offered & Seats:

  • The JEE Mode of admissions is for the following 4-year programmes at the institute:
    • [CSE] B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering – 100
    • [ECE] B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering – 70

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants must have appeared for JEE (Main) in 2024. The total percentile in this exam is mandatory for application to this mode of admission.
  • For candidates who attempt JEE Main exam more than once in 2024 (as there are 2 sessions), the best percentile of the attempts as reported by NTA will be considered. Ties among applicants in the total percentile are resolved by considering first the Maths, then the Physics and then the Chemistry percentiles from the corresponding examination before ranking all applicants.
  • Any ties at the subjects level among applicants will be handled by assigning the same rank to the applicants who will then be treated on par. Class XII marks have no bearing on the ranking and seat allotment.

Mode Of Application: Online

Application Fee: Rs. 2000/-

Admissions Requirement:

  • Apply via our admissions portal by the announced deadline.
  • Report your JEE (Main) 2023 percentiles, application no. and score card.
  • Obtain 60% or more in Class 12 or equivalent qualifying examination with Maths, Physics and Chemistry by July 2024.

Preference Selection:

  • You must select your programme preference order when filling the application form
    • When you select a programme preference, you express your intent to join the programme, if offered during seat-allotment.
    • Select only those programmes in which you are seriously interested to join. If you are really keen on only 1 branch or programme, you should list it as your first and only preference. You will continue to remain in the seat-allotment process till the last round to be offered your preferred seat, if available, based on rank-order.
    • Avoid selecting a programme that you are not interested to join. Otherwise, if offered, you will have to accept it (or) exit from the admission process. If you accept, in later seat-allotment rounds, you may or may not slide to a higher preferred programme, as it depends on availability. Selecting a programme that you are not keen on joining also robs the chance of another applicant genuinely serious in that programme.
  • No sliding is permitted after the last round of allotment.
  • You can change your preferences until the last date of application.
