Candidates who have passed any qualifying examination other than the Higher Secondary course examination conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu, CBSE & CISCE in India shall obtain an eligibility certificate from the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai by remitting the prescribed fee along with the application form before seeking admission to any one of the affiliated Medical Institutions.
The candidate will be required to produce the eligibility certificate at the time of registration for admission to the course if selected.
Application Fee: Rs. 1200/- + Rs. 500/- For Each Course
Selection Process:
All candidates are aware of the objectives of The Christian Medical College, Vellore which is “the establishment, maintenance and development of a Christian Medical College and Hospitals in India, where women and men shall receive an education of the highest grade in the art and science of medicine and of nursing, or in one or other of the related professions, to equip them in the spirit of Christ for service in the relief of suffering and the promotion of health”.
The aforesaid objective is based on the religious percept of “Healing the sick”. Matthew 10:8.

Selection to the MBBS course in CMC Vellore is done through counselling by Tamil Nadu Selection committee, Directorate of Medial Education, Chennai. a) NEET (UG)-2024 Score submission at CMC Website: All MBBS applicants have to submit their NEET (UG)-2024 score, All India rank and roll number at our website.
b) Application to the Tamil Nadu Selection Committee for Counseling for MBBS admission under Management quota in Self-financing Medical Colleges of Tamil Nadu: MBBS applicants to CMC, Vellore have to apply to the Tamil Nadu Selection Committee, Directorate of Medical Education, Chennai – 10, for Counseling for MBBS admission under the relevant category for Christian Medical College Vellore. Please refer to the website www.tnhealth.org or www.tnmedicalselection.org or http://www.tnmedicalselection.net/ for details. Only those candidates whose names appear in the Tamil Nadu Management quota rank list for seats in Self-financing Medical Colleges of Tamil Nadu will be eligible for MBBS admission at CMC, Vellore.
c) Tamil Nadu Management quota rank submission at CMC Website: MBBS applicants have to enter their Tamil Nadu Management quota rank at our website within a fixed period of time, which will be notified later.
d) Counselling by Tamil Nadu Selection committee (Directorate of Medial Education) for MBBS admission under Management quota in Self-financing Medical colleges: Admissions will take place through the process of counseling as specified by the Tamil Nadu Selection committee.
