GCET (Goa Common Entrance Test) 2018 Dates Released
What is GCET?
GCET (Goa Common Entrance Test). The Government of Goa in 1986 created Directorate of Technical Education. The Goa State Education Board announces the schedule for GCET.
(A) Admissions to MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, Allied Health Sciences (Para Medical) & B.Sc. in Nursing Courses shall be based on NEET (National Entrance cum Eligibility Test) – 2018 to be conducted by CBSE and eligibility criteria prescribed by respective regulatory authority. For further details regarding the Schedule, Centres, pattern, application form and other relevant information, regarding NEET – 2018, candidates are advised to refer to the website of MCI/CBSE, as well as lookout for advertisements, circulars, notifications being issued by above bodies
(B) Admissions to B.E. & B.Pharm courses in the State of Goa for the academic year 2018-19 shall be carried out on basis of GCET-2018, (Goa Common Entrance Test), which shall be conducted in various Centres, across
Goa State, in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Maths, based on Std. XIIth (Science) syllabus prescribed in these subjects by Goa Board, for March- 2018 exam as per following schedule.

Each paper shall consist of 75 (Seventy Five) questions of one mark each, to be answered in two hours.
(C) Admissions to B.Arch. course shall be on the basis of scores obtained at NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture), conducted by Council of Architecture, and qualifying exam (Std. XIIth/ HSSC).
