Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test (LPUNEST) 2019 Notification Released

LPUNEST (B.Tech.) will provide a gateway to all under graduate engineering programmes in LPU and will act as Entrance test for admission in Engineering Programmes at LPU.

Eligibility Criteria:

Nationality: Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply for LPUNEST (B.Tech.)

Qualifying Examination: Applicants appearing for LPUNEST (B.Tech.) should have either completed or shall be appearing in 2019, in final examination of 10+2 from Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi) or The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE, New Delhi) or State Board or any other Council, Institution, college etc. declared recognised by Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE), New Delhi or any other concerned apex body as applicable.

* Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent (with Physics, Mathematics and English)* subject to qualifying LPUNEST (B.Tech.)

* For B.Tech. Biotechnology (BT), B.Tech. (Food Technology), B.Tech. (Biomedical Engineering) and Integrated B.Tech. – M.Tech. (Biotechnology): Subjects considered: Physics, Chemistry, English & either Maths or Biology or Biotechnology; other things remaining same as above.

* For B.Tech. Chemical Engineering (CHE) and B.Tech. (CHE – Petroleum): Subjects considered: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English; other things remaining same as above.

Mode of Application: Online & Offline

Application Fee:

Online – Rs. 500/- (for boys) and Rs. 250/- (for girls)

Offline – Rs. 500/- (for both boys and girls)

Application fee once paid will not be refunded.

Exam Pattern:

The duration of the test is 150 minutes (2 hrs. 30 min.) and it consists of 110 objective type multiple choice questions (MCQs).

The approximate distribution of questions is as follows:

⇒ Applicants can opt for either English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology.

Note: The applicants, after Schedule I, who wants to improve the result may also appear for the second time in Schedule II. The application fee for such candidates will be Rs. 300. The better score will be considered for the final calculation of the cut-offs/ ranks.
