Avantika University 2019 (B. Tech and B. Design) Notification Released
Avantika is India’s first Design Centered University, promoted by MIT Group of Institutions, Pune, which has a proven legacy of 35 years in the field of higher education. The university is established by the Government of Madhya Pradesh, through an Act of State Legislature, vide The Madhya Pradesh Niji Vishwavidyalaya (Sthapana Avam Sanchalan), Tritiya Sanshodhan Adhiniyam, 2016 (No. 5 of 2017) published in the “Madhya Pradesh Gazette (Extraordinary)”, dated 12th January 2017. The university is approved by UGC.
Eligibility Criteria:
For B. Tech:
10+2 (From any of the State Boards/ CBSE/ ICSE/ ISC/ CIE/ IB/ NIOS or equivalent exam) with Physics, English, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. 55% aggregate in the subject group Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Vocational Subject. 50% in English. Valid score of DAT or JEE or any state entrance examination.
For B. Des:
10+2 from any stream (from any of the State Boards/ CBSE/ ICSE/ ISC/ CIE/ IB/ NIOS or equivalent exam).
50% aggregate in all subjects. Proficiency in English. Valid score of MIT Pune Design Aptitude Test (DAT). DAT is jointly conducted by Avantika University, Ujjain and MIT Institute of Design (MIT-ID), Pune.

Admission Procedure:
For B. Des:
⇒ Submit the online application for Design Aptitude Test (DAT) with application fee
⇒ Shortlisted candidates from DAT will be called for Studio Test on campus
⇒ Status of your application will be communicated after the evaluation of all parameters.
For B. Tech & B. Arch:
⇒ Submit the online application form with application fee and all relevant enclosures
⇒ Shortlisted candidates will appear for personal interview through Skype
⇒ Status of your application will be communicated after the evaluation of all parameters

⇒ The norms for selection at Avantika will be the sole prerogative of Admission Committee, and the decision of Admission Committee in any of the matters concerning the admission process and selection will be final.
