What is SAAT?

Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) is a Deemed to be University situated in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. SOA was reaccredited by NAAC with an ‘A’ grade (highest grade under the old system) in 2015 for a period of 5 years.

Important Dates:

Last Date of Application: 10th April 2018

Examination Date: 20th April to 30th April 2018

Eligibility Criteria:

a) B.Tech: Pass or appearing (in the year 2018) at 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Informatics/ Statistics/ Technical Vocational subject or any other subject as approved by appropriate authority with atleast 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ST/OBC category).

b) B.Pharm: Pass or appearing at 10+2 examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and or Biology (P.C.B/P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects individually. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations. (As per the norms and regulations of Pharmacy Council of India).

c) BHMCT: Pass or appearing at 10+2 examination (2018) in any discipline with at least 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ST/OBC category).

d) B.Sc. in Nursing (Basic): Pass or appearing at 10+2 examination (2018) with at least 45% marks in aggregate (Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together) and 40% marks in aggregate for SC/ST/OBC candidates and must have passed in English.

Age Limit: The lower age limit is 17 years as on 31.12.2018.

e) B.Sc. in in Agriculture: Pass or appearing at 10+2 examination (2018) with not less than 50% marks in aggregate for admission under General and OBC categories, 40% marks in aggregate for admission under SC, ST and PH categories, with PCM/PCB/PCMB subject combinations. Candidates must have passed in English 10+2 examination.

Age Limit: The lower age limit is 17 years as on 31.12.2018.

Examination Programme: The SAAT-2018 will be held on 20th to 30th April 2018 and the duration of the entrance examination is 2hrs.

Examination Procedure:

⇒ In each of the sections, every question is followed by 4 answer options. Choose the option that is most appropriate. Indicate your answer by clicking on the circle adjacent to the option you think is right.

⇒ You can go to any question directly by clicking on the question number, which will appear at the bottom of the screen. The answered question number will be marked Green and the unanswered/ skipped question number will remain in blue.

⇒ If you are doubtful of the answer, you can mark a question for review using the ‘Mark for review button’. This will be unmarked once you come back to the same question at a later time and change the answer.

⇒ If you want to change the answer of any question, you may select the question and change the answer by clicking on the appropriate answer.

⇒ Each correct answer fetches 4 marks. There is negative marking. 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

⇒ If you have completed answering all the questions in the sequence of a particular section, you will be automatically directed to the first question of the next section.

⇒ You can move between sections at your will.

⇒ The test closes automatically once the allotted time of 120 Minutes are over.
