Maharastra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) 2019 for Admission into Engineering Notification Released

The Government of Maharashtra has established “ADMISSIONS REGULATING AUTHORITY AND STATE COMMON ENTRANCE TEST CELL” as per the provisions of the Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions& Fees) Act. 2015(Mah. Act No. XXVIII of 2015), (herein after the Act).

Eligibility Criteria:

Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates:

(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National;

(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects, and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together; and Obtained score in MHT-CET 2019.

All India Candidature Candidates, Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidates for Engineering/ Technology:

(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National;

(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together and Obtained score in JEE(Main) Paper I or MHT-CET 2019.

All India Candidature Candidates for Pharmacy & Pharm D:

(i) The candidate should be an Indian National;

(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together; (iii) should obtain non-zero positive score in NEET or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in CET and should obtain non-zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority. However, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non-zero positive score in NEET over the candidates who obtained non-zero score in CET.

Application Fee:

For General Category Candidates from Maharashtra State, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), J & K Migrant candidates: Rs. 800/-.

For Candidates of Backward Class Categories [SC, ST, VJ/DTNT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC, SEBC] and Persons with Disability Candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only: Rs. 600/-.
