Christ University Application Starts From 8th December, 2017
What is Christ University?
Christ University (Deemed to be University), formerly known as Christ College, was an Autonomous institution since 2005. Christ College was reaccredited with an A+ by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) for quality education in 2005. It has also been recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) as an institution with “Potential for Excellence”. It was declared a Deemed to be University in the name and style of Christ University (Deemed to be University) in 2008 under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Union Government of India vide Notification No. F. 9-34/2007-U.3 (A).
Eligibility: Basic eligibility for the programme is a pass at the +2 level (Karnataka PUC/ ISC/ CBSE/ NIOS/ State Boards) Examination from any recognized Board with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics. Candidates should have studied Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry at Class XII level and obtained a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics.
Students pursuing International curriculum must have AIU approval and must obtain a grade of not less than ‘C’ or its equivalent.
Candidates writing the +2 examinations in March – May 2018 may apply with their class X and XI marks.
Application Starts: 8th December, 2017
Direct Mode: After obtaining the direct mode application the candidate has to fill the application online by using the link: http://offlineapp.christuniversity.in/. The application will not be valid if not filled and submitted online.
Online Mode: The online applications will be available from 04:00 PM, December 08th, 2017 onwards. Applicants can fill and submit the application forms online on the University website. The online application can be processed through the payment gateway with a valid Credit/ Debit Card/ Net banking facility. NRI/ OCI/ PIO/ Foreign Nationals may pay through Demand Draft, made in favour of Christ University (Deemed to be University), payable at Bengaluru.
